Accommodation
The Treehouse offers 3 exclusive rooms, each with an in-room bathroom and side lamps. Electricity is solar-generated; hot water is heated the traditional way, over an open fire. Built into the boulders, every room has a private view across the bushveld.
Activities & in the area
Onjowewe is built around switching off, not a packed itinerary — no wifi, little signal, nowhere to be. The one activity worth planning around is a guided visit to the Otjikandero Himba Village, a cultural exchange arranged respectfully through the local community trust. Etosha National Park is about an hour’s drive away, close enough for a day trip or a stop on the way in or out. At night, star-gazing from the deck of your treehouse — no generator hum, no light pollution, just the boulders cooling off after dark.
